To plot the Flying Stars chart, start from the center. From the center, your first stop should be NW, followed by W, then NE, S, and so on until you reach SE. Regardless of which number occupies the center, teh square in the center is filled-in first.
Yin and Yang are important concepts to be observed. There are two manners in which the stars will move: Yin or Yang. When flying Yang, it means, if the number in the center is #5, the next number should be #6. When the stars follow the Yin path, the numbers move in reducing manner (e.g., 5, 4, 3).
Even Numbers: Earth YIN (-); Heaven YANG (+); Man YANG (+)
Odd Numbers: Earth YANG (+); Heaven YIN (-); Man YIN (-)
All the BLACK sectors are YIN and WHITE sectors are YANG on the 24 Mountains ring.
